Bharati Vidyapeeth's College of Fine Arts, Pune, organized a Road Safety Mission in collaboration with RTO and Traffic Police, as part of the NSS regular activities under Savitribai Phule Pune University, on 17/08/2023. Hon'ble Prashant Kanse, Senior Officer Bharati University Transport Department Officer, guided the
students regarding traffic rules. Bharati Pariwar Chairman and esteemed member of R.T.A (RTO) Government of Maharashtra honorable Shri Baba Mama Shinde was present at Katraj Chowk and gave his valuable insights to the students. The drive aimed to raise road safety awareness and involved traffic police, police officers, college staff, and students at BVCOFA. Placards were displayed at Katraj Chowk on August 17, 2023. Traffic police and individuals adhering to road safety rules were given roses as tokens of appreciation by students of BVCOFA. The campaign's goal was to encourage road safety practices. It created a valuable experience for students and staff and contributed at large to the society well-being.
